What do you recommend for cleaning white shoes?

I was (stupidly) wearing my white Converse shoes today and they got muddy on the edges. I have tried to scrub it out but the stain is still there. Any suggestions of how to go about removing it or what cleaner to use? Thank you! :)

Toothpaste.. not the gel type the old fashioned paste type.

Works like a champ, yes get the one with a bleach if your shoes are white. Rub in with a cloth or old toothbrush. Rinse with water.

or toss them in the washing machine on warm ( not hot) with a few towels ,and tide with bleach. ( I use this method often).

Do not machine dry.. ! It can undo some glues used.

Congrats on buying the best shoes ever made. Regular all purpose cleaner works.

Lava soap, water & scrub brush. Air dry.

Or rub in full strength liquid laundry detergent into fabric & toss in washing machine. Air dry.
