Some people don't know this option exists. Just like some people don't know if they hit F5 its like being in an open chat room where we can converse and respond to each others answers.
Thanks for the 2 points and I don't care about the points so give it to someone who needs them to get to a higher level.

they perhaps don't care about best answers but only with the answers...
or they don't think that any of the answers is good enough to chosen as best answer,..
