Web-site or service to learn and practice spanish?
hello,
I am a semi-fluent spanish speaker. However recently I have found that if I don't practice my spanish each day or at least 3 times a week I am slowly forgetting it.
I am a student studying alot of science so it's kind of like my organic chem is replacing my spanish knowledge.
So is there a web-site or service where you can practice conversation spanish, preferrably with some kind of real native speaker who will help you with proper grammer and conjugation and stuff?
what are some good programs out there to really listen and practice the skills?

Hola P.Z.
You can find Spanish native speakers here:
http://www.mylanguageexchange.com/Search.asp?selX3...
Once you've made contact with any of them, you can then decide how to interact through the web.
¡Diviértete!

Have a listen to http://www.spanishpod101.com,/ I think it's just what you're looking for. They have new lessons every day in mp3 format. Not all lessons will be relevant to someone at your level, but I'm sure you'll get a lot out of it.
You can learn a lot about the Spanish language, not just learn it. They have a series about all the regional differences throughout the Spanish speaking world, and cultural lessons. When you get to the level of language learning that you're describing I think what you really need is simply regular exposure to the language.
SpanishPod101.com is regular, and really interesting for a language learner like you, so I think you'll get a lot out of it. Just listen every day, and you'll start picking it up!

The only one I know of on the Net is mylanguageexchange.com.
You can always also go to your local library and ask for a spanish/english dictionary and brush up on your Spanish that way! Or, listen to some Spanish radio or tv stations and see which words are familiar and which ones you need to work on.

Hello,
Try http://www.sharedtalk.com/
It's great and cannot recommend it enough. I use it all the time to practice/learn Portuguese.
You'll be able to find language partners, text/voice chat with native speakers, make great friends and have lots of fun while learning.
Good Luck!

If you are taking organic chemistry you might be a premedical student.
look at the free website
http://www.practicingspanish.com/
although it has emphasis on medical spanish it is based on conversations, so it's helpful even if you are not going into healthcare
