The People's Choice Awards is on CBS TONIGHT! Queen Latifah hosts. It will be different than all the previews People's Choice Awards show though. All acceptance speechs have been pre-recorded and there will be no audience. It is more of an entertainment style news program this year due to the writers strike. The audience would not cross the picket line for this.

It has indeed been cancelled, due to the writers strike....

*According to Audiences Unlimited, due to the writer's strike, the audience for the 2008 People's Choice Awards show at The Shrine has been canceled; however, a revised version of Awards telecast will still air on CBS on January 8, 2008.

The article below was written before this news broke.*

We're not sure if it's going to be cancelled!

Because of the writers strike. lots of people don't want to go because they want the writers on their side!

Lots of the writers are saying they are going to protest at the awards ceremony.

So lots of actors don't wantto get involved.

So im not positivie if it's going to be cancelled or not.

So lets hope they can make peace with the writers for one night.

If it's going to be on, im pretty sure it's this friday or sunday.

    Can't remmember
