The People's Choice Awards have not been canceled, but its format will be slightly different this year due to the ongoing Hollywood Writer's Strike.

Instead of its usual live show early on, the organization promises a star-studded newsmagazine-style telecast that will air tonight, Tuesday, January 8 at 9pm ET/PT on CBS.
