Do those exercises that ballerinas do to limber up your strings.
Put your leg against the wall and try to get it as high as you can
Your goal is to get your groin flush with the wall.

The choreographer for a show I'm doing (that involves high kicks) told us to stand next to a chair, for support, and swing our legs back and forth, one leg at a time, getting higher each time. Of course, stretching always helps too.

It sounds like your high kicks are already pretty high !
Practice your right and left splits everyday, they use the same muscles and tendants as high kicking needs.
Also, stand straight and take one of your feet in your hands, then stretch out your leg and lift it up infront of you as far as you can , holding it for about 30 seconds, on each leg. =]

work on split and just kick your legs up
