Canadian relocating to UK?

I am a Canadian, marrying a Brit in May, 08. What do I need to know in order to move to UK? Do I need a visa? Do I need a British passport?

Any helpful websites would be very appreciated as well.

Have a look around this site for the info you require...

    http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/

If you can't find it then there is a contact link under the search box. Just ask them what you need to know...they should be able to tell you...they are the ones who are in control after all!

    Good Luck...

    Edit

Out of curiosity I just had a hunt around that site and found this bit...

"Your husband, wife or civil partner must obtain permission to enter the United Kingdom before travelling here. We call this permission (entry clearance). It will be in the form of a visa or entry clearance certificate. To obtain it, he/she should apply to the British diplomatic post in the country where he/she lives. For information about visas, see the UKvisas website."

So it looks like you need to contact the British Embassy where you are first of all...
