I am having problems configuring any kind of mail programs.... Eudora or anything. Can anyone help me?
I have errors saying that either it doesn' t recognize the APOP authenticity or it cannot verify the password with username

For yahoo mail you have 2 options
If you are using yahoo email you can upgrade to yahoo mail plus to get
the pop3 service

Or you can use free ypops fully compatible with yahoo mail and works

you can't..
it does not have pop3 disabled (or something along those lines)..
its the same with hotmail..
so unless you search google for a forwarding tool (probably to gmail, then to mail) but they are mostly all not free.
im in the same mess only with hotmail.

perhaps so Holli...yet they actually did not do it of their own accord. apparently slightly demonic persuasion is going some distance. now it is me who's stimulated. welcome back sessh. :)
