They look the same! One is cheaper!
My tuba fits in the trunk of a charger. Is the trunk space any bigger/smaller in the avenger??
I've tried out the charger as a low end rental car, and I loved it!
Now, just how different, exactly, is the avenger from the charger??

the avenger is just a little smaller than the charger is ,both are nice vehicles,but if your looking for room id choose the charger,they also have more inside room than the avenger does,the new avengers are nice though their just a little cheaper and smaller,both have the same quality built in to them though,good luck with it.

Ok, if you're really worried about trunk space, you should probably go for the Charger because the Avenger is much smaller. If you're really worried about performance, i.e. a fast car, you should go for the Charger. If you want a car that is gonna be a little cheaper and better on gas mileage, that's when you should check out an Avenger. And, you can find out if your tuba fits, just go test drive one at a dealership.

when my car was in the shop, i rented a 08 avenger and i have to say very smooth ride and absolutly great on gas. I was surprised. Nice looking car to and the sound system was aesome. Only flaw was the sight, the windows in the back are a little small so vision is tough sometimes but not a big factor. The charger is good but unless you are getting a hemi forget it.

Yeah, I've heard they're quite different. My grandpa owns a Charger, and its really sweet. The Avenger is on the same "basis", its just smaller and more affordable for the common person.

I'm sorry, but for *anyone* that has ever seen the original muscle car Charger, the new Charger is such a p*ss poor example of a car as I've ever seen. It is just pitiful. I don't have a clue what the heck they had in mind when they "supposedly "reinvented" it. Go with anything but.
