Has anyone stayed in New York, New York hotel in Las Vegas?

I have. I DO NOT like it there! The help was not very nice! I tried to get a few extra pilliows(it also was on a Tues night). & I didn't get them for 3 hours!!!!!! I like Harras, Luxor, Tropicana. Those hotels were sooooo much better! The staff was way better!!! I also got better prices on all 3 of those over the NY NY. Just some food for thought!!!!!!!

I've gone to Vegas 20 times over the last fourteen years, and I have stayed at almost as many separate properties. New York New York is one of my favorites. The rooms are clean. The hotel is well-staffed. Security is top-notch. (The last time I stayed there, some white trash couple across the hall from me had a brawl at 3am. They were screaming at each other in the middle of the hall, and one slammed the other into the wall. They were escorted off the property before 4am.)

I can tell you three properties I will NEVER stay at again. 1. Riviera (rooms are dirty and we had sand fleas in our first one, and the three subsequent ones we were offered.) 2. Tropicana - it's just too old and needs a complete makeover - starting with the staff. 3. Excalibur - too many kids, and they need a good air filter - even the non-smoking rooms stunk like ashtrays.

New York, New York is a pretty cool hotel. Great location, right in the centre of the strip. Rooms are not massive but no problem. I love the night life in this hotel.

I love NYNY!! It is the only hotel we stay at when in Las Vegas. Good location, great nightlife, great restaurants. Try the food and drinks at Gonzalez gonzalez....ride the rollercoaster....visit Coyote Ugly....have a cold one at The Big Apple Bar!! Easily accessible to other casinos. Rooms were nice and the staff was very accomodating. Have fun!!

Never stayed in the hotel, but I love the theme and it's definitely toward the top of my list of places to visit when I go to Vegas.

Great hotel, Great Location. There is a lot to do and see around the area.
