Ok my mom put this filter on my laptop. And like i've said before i respect that. And we talked and everything and she doesnt mind me using IM or checking my email but she paid for the filter so she doesnt want to uninstall it. When i download trillian, and add my screename to "identities and connections" it just says "disconnected". I really really really need help guys! I bought the computer/laptop myself just so you know...so yeah. I want to be able to chat with my friends. I have used meebo and liked it a lot. But i just want a messenger cause its quicker and i like trillian better. I have a vista laptop. The trillian download works, but then i add my screename and its disconnected. I know its not a problem of restarting the computer and etc. Its something with the filter. Please help, and if you know how to fix/or what to do make it simple and understandle. And please no rudeness!!!! Thanks sooo much, person who can help me out gets 10 points. I really really appreciate this ;-)

you have the admin account? its your laptop you should have!! log into admin and disable the filter, or set it to allow trillian access the internet

Are you wanting a yahoo messenger so you can IM? If so try downloading from another site, I dont know if it will get past the filter but you can always try. Use the sites below they are safe and virus and spyware free.
