It surely will.A car in every home dream might just become a reality but who cares for the eco system, petrol prices rolling over $100 per barrel, life on the road is bound to become a hell.

But surely the economy is going to benefit a lot and consumers will have dreams come true offer

Yes, this is a great innovation from TATA. TATA has proved that even in less money world class car can be made.

Now you can think atleast what this big giant are doing with your money. Simply they are charging more money for the cars to add to thier profit.

There are certain question to be raised too.

    1. What about the environment that are sound and ari pollution?

    2. What will be affects in roads?

    3. What is social impact?

    Taking one at a time...

Definitely sound and air pollution will be more, but this is not because of the TATA car only. Sound and air pollution increased by other cars also. If you really try to stop the air and sound pollution then stop buying cars and use public transport. Can the rich people do this? I am certain that they won't. Why all the responsibility have to be carried by the middle class family?

I believe that this car is for the middle class family. That too they will use it when they need it the most.

The people who is raising thier voice against TATA car they use different kind of car which spreads the same kind of pollution as the TATA car.

I am going to use this car and if you want to stop the TATA car then you make sure that no car will ply in the road anymore. I know that this is impossible so don't talk too much about this.

Please praise the engineers and TATA company who invented this car like a true lover of your country.

    Hats off TATA family...Congrats...

Tata's smallest car Nano is not only a revolution in the automobile industry, besides being available to the teeming masses who will now be able to be carworthy, but it also asserts the value for money concept. After all whats wrong with a person who is capable of paying Rs one lakh, and still not be able to afford to be able to be carworthy, if it were not for Tata's nano.

What you must understand that it is going to redefine the worth of a Lakh of Indian Rupees. After all, You are in a car ( read, a four wheeler vehicle meeting all safety norms) on the road for a lakh of rupees as much as the the other in a mercedes for a 80 lakh or upward .

The value for money stands redefined .

Yes Ratan Tata has the guts to deliver it, and it is just any body' guess what a market share Tata nano is going to hog.

I believe that all the other cars especially those are in the luxury segment are grossly overpriced and beyond reach of the common man for which the Tata nano is a solid answer.

Who cares for a Porche or a Ferrari if you have a nano.

Moreover, the name is trendy, absolutrely in sync with the hi tech of today and the styling is good enough. Space wise, would you like to travel on an Indian pushcart (thela) or in a Nano if you have a choice, because it is the former which still rules the Indian road.

Don't worry about the traffic chaos, the Indian roads are set to become better, and would you rather jostle with the crowd in the local train from Ghaziabad to Delhi or take a Nano ride if you can afford it.

With the launch of Tat Nano the worth of the Indian Rupee stands redefined in the international market.

Congratulations to the Tata Automobile research team!

Yes it is a people's car and it will effect the Indian Economy in a very positive manner as of now there are 6 million two wheeler riders in India and each one of them dreams of a personal four wheeler which till now was a dream for them due to their budget constraints, now with the launch of Tata Nano their burried dreams have been revived as now they can own a car that too by paying an amount that is unimaginable today. Our economy will head upwards with the launch of this car as sales will rise and there will be an economic boom. Tata motors today are almost on a Break Even Point i.e. No Profit No Loss Situation but with the launch of it's Nano their profits will rise and their main objective i.e. providing a safe four wheeler to the 6 million two wheeler drivers in India will be achieved. It's a big leap towards the future. Tata's did the unthinkable as no other company could dare to even think of what Tata's have achived.

if tata's expectations are to be believed. On the other hand with the hiking global oil prices it will put more pressure on the govt to raise the oil prices in india too which is loosing crores of rupees each day for subsidising the prices coz dey dont want to make ppl angry and give the opposition a issue before elections as congress is already lost in gujrat and himachal.Consequently it will put more and more debt on indian economy only for more and more consumption of oil.

Moreover i think the situation gets worsen if the tata nano becomes the public transport for eg the autos running on streets comes in much more than what is the expected price of tata nano.So i am afraid the autos on streets will b replaced by the nano.today tha autos are running on Cng which is a less polluting medium as a fuel ,if tata nano doesnt come with cng den the pollution problem will also deepen with increase in the no of tata nano on streets.

the new Tata Nano car in my opinion will surely increase the competition in small-car segment.... and companies like maruti and ford motors will hv 2 work hard 2 provide the consumers with such a car at low price!!!.... on the other hand nw the traditional Scooter walas and Bike walas will tend to shift to the car segment by buying tata nano..... thus increasing the traffic in india by many fold..... but on the contrary if this is seen in a positive way then there are a few chances that the Indian Govt.. will wake from Kumbhakaran's sleep and will make efforts 2 develop an infrastructure accordingly...... the adequate infrastructure is a must so as to escape problems like that of parking space, traffic, road accidents, pollution etc. ....

well i think this is a great move by tata considering that considerable population of india falls in middle class range who can now afford a car which was like a dream for dem before. But

everything comes with its pro and cons, on the one hand it will improve the governments fund through the tax payable with each

nano bought which will be quite large number if tata's expectations are to be believed.

    Hi Friends,

As per my opinion Tata Nano car will be good car for aam admi i.e. middle class family. Because its value is very less which middle man can effort. By launching this car there will be increase in the business of Car Driving Schools.

This is very right decision come from Tata Group. Yes I agree, this is people car. This will the revolution in four wheeler industries. There must be big competition between other companies like Bajaj etc.

    A) Help push people into considering to buy this cheap affordable car.

    B) Aggravates already bad traffic conditions beyond imagination.

    C) Helps other car makers push their prices down.

    D) It will negatively affect our economy and may also aggravate the global economy because of the increased demand for Petrol. This will not only push the price beyond $100 per barrel, but will also be a huge burden on our already huge export bill. This will be drag on our economy.

    E) Indian government may loose dollars, but it will gain lot of money via Taxes (VAT) and will increase the businesses of car dealers and repairers.

    F) In 2-4 years from now, the other auto majors will improve design and efficiency to a point where the prices will automatically come down and the price of today's luxary car will be on par with Rs 1 Lakh. So Tata's spending on this engineering miracle will be waste of time and resources.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
