You probably cracked a rib or something. There's nothing a doctor can do about that. It just takes some time to heal.

I would consult a physician for further evaluation and possibly tests if they haven't been done already. This is important because there could be things you cannot see but could be injured just the same internally.
That being said, mostly I hear that simply time and sometimes gentle stretching exercises are the best. Anti-inflammatories might be advisable to get you over the worst part.
But don't take my advise without talking to a doctor first....this is just my own experiences and in no way am I a physician!

Question did u mention this to our doctor, if no then u need to contact our doc and let him know. Usually for any pain Ibuprofen in the best solution especially if u are brush inside it will take the swelling down.

If it's just bruising you can sit in a hot bath with Epsom salt, it will reduce pain and swelling. Try extra strength asprin or arnica. You can also try pain relieving creams. And apply heat to effected area.

Been there done that, Aspirin...as long as you don't feel abnormalities in the ribs...
If anything feels out of place visit a doctor
