Whats the deal with concert tickets these days...?

Its so hard to get affordable concert tickets these days. It seems the tickes sell out so fast but really its just a bunch of money hungry ticket scalpers buy them up then shake you down for up to 10 times the face value for them.. it sucks.. do you think there is any way to prevent this from happeining anymore.. please share your ideas here.

    supply and demand

    so long as people keep paying $50-$75 a ticket, concert venues are going to keep charging it.

    If sales go down, then they'll be forced to charge less

    A ticketmaster individual instructed me as quickly as that the 1st individual in any given line gets the coolest seats. everybody after that gets what's left. There are dozens of ticketmaster places everywhere in the city, plus the cyber web and telephones. All those human beings at one time whilst tickets pass on sale are going to snatch up the superb seats obtainable.
