My acer5100 IDE failed, how do i fix it?

i can't get it to boot or any thing....

any body know whats wrong?

    try loading bios defaults ... try booting in safemode ... if it wont do anything its likely a bad harddrive ..

    Check all physical connections. The power supply may be dead also.
