Wow! As a huge Elvis fan myself, that actually a tough one. I would say 30 #1 Hits, Essential Elvis Presley, Ultimate Gospel, 2nd To None, Aloha From Hawaii, Elvis Live, 50 Greatest Love Songs,

You really can't go wrong with Elvis. As someone starting out with Elvis, I would recommend the CD's above. The 30 #1 Hits, 2nd To None and the Essential Elvis Presley are good, they give you a good selection of songs from the 50's and 60's, with a couple thrown in from the 70's. To get a feel of his 70's music: Elvis Live, 50 Greatest Love Songs, Aloha From Hawaii. And to get a feel for his gospel side: The Ultimate Gospel.

The Best of Albums are good (there's no bad Elvis), but honestly, a lot of them focus on songs from the 50's and 60's, they don't really give you a feel for the other kind of music he did.

Welcome to the world of Elvis! You're gonna love it here! I've been a fan since I was 5 and I will be a fan for life! The very first time I heard Elvis, was the very instant I became a fan. I will never forget that day.
