Actually, a male medic I knew swore by it. His headache will go away. Tada.
It has 500 mg of acetaminophen (i.e. Tylenol), 32.4 mg of caffeine, and 15 mg of a diuretic called prylamine maleate. Tylenol and caffeine is marketed on its own as Tylenol Ultra Relief, and is a very effective pain reliever.
His pain will lessen, he'll be a little more alert and he may have to pee.

midol is a really powerful ibprofen so taking the 2 together was probably not good. Also taking more tjan the recommended vitamins is not good for your body at all. You should call the poison control center, it is most likely to be on the back of any medicine or cleaner in your house if not then google it. You could be pregnant though so take a pregnancy test ASAP. Really I think that you shouldn't be having sex unless you can take on the consequences. I know a lot of women that want kids so bad and have everything to take care of one but can't get pregnant. So if you are and don't want it think about adoption. Good Luck hope everything is just fine.

I could just see the panic of the poor Midol. Imagine them going through the blood stream looking for where to go. I do know it is not fatal tho with normal doseage cuz I used to have a couple of friends that used to take them for hangover help before bed.
edit.... I am sorry, they died a while back so I never had a chance to ask them if it helped.
~PS... pot works better for headaches.
lol @ grow boobs. Maybe you will get to see a guy with a bra yet ;)

nothing bad at all! It will work just fine for him, it is whats called a "stacked medication" meaning it has several different meds to take care of several symptoms. No he doesn't have craps but that is just a Tylenol type med that is helping with that. And a diuretic is what helps with bloating just make him not so puffy and pee more. Caffeine helps the fatigue and the headache so nothing strange there. So basically nothing strange will happen I have even given it to my husband for hangovers...Just a thought :D

Nothing. I have a guy friend who takes Midol when he has a headache and he swears by it. Says it works better than other pain killers.

He'll be fine. It's basically like excedrin. The caffeine in the Midol is what counteracts the fatigue. Seriously, I've done this before and said it was excedrin. They were fine (actually felt better). Hehe

It will ease his headache and help with his premenstrual bloating.
I believe there's a small amount of caffeine in Midol too, so that might help his headache.

What is the most important information I should know about Midol IB (ibuprofen)?
This medicine can increase your risk of life-threatening heart or circulation problems, including heart attack or stroke. This risk will increase the longer you use ibuprofen. Do not use this medicine just before or after having heart bypass surgery (also called coronary artery bypass graft, or CABG).
Seek emergency medical help if you have symptoms of heart or circulation problems, such as chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, or problems with vision or balance.
This medicine can also increase your risk of serious effects on the stomach or intestines, including bleeding or perforation (forming of a hole). These conditions can be fatal and gastrointestinal effects can occur without warning at any time while you are taking ibuprofen. Older adults may have an even greater risk of these serious gastrointestinal side effects.
Call your doctor at once if you have symptoms of bleeding in your stomach or intestines. This includes black, bloody, or tarry stools, or coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.
Do not take more of this medication than is recommended. An overdose of ibuprofen can cause damage to your stomach or intestines. The maximum amount of ibuprofen for adults is 800 milligrams per dose or 3200 mg per day (4 maximum doses). Use only the smallest amount of ibuprofen needed to get relief from your pain, swelling, or fever. Avoid taking ibuprofen if you are taking aspirin to prevent stroke or heart attack. Ibuprofen can make aspirin less effective in protecting your heart and blood vessels. If you must use both medications, take the ibuprofen at least 8 hours before or 30 minutes after you take the aspirin (non-enteric coated form). Do not drink alcohol while taking ibuprofen. Alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding caused by ibuprofen.
Midol IB (ibuprofen) side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop taking ibuprofen and seek medical attention or call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
* chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, problems with vision or balance;
*black, bloody, or tarry stools;
* coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds;
* swelling or rapid weight gain;
* urinating less than usual or not at all;
* nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes);
* fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash;
* bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness; or
* fever, headache, neck stiffness, chills, increased sensitivity to light, purple spots on the skin, and/or seizure (convulsions).
Keep taking ibuprofen and talk to your doctor if you have any of these less serious side effects:
* upset stomach, mild heartburn, diarrhea, constipation;
* bloating, gas;
* dizziness, headache, nervousness;
* skin itching or rash;
* blurred vision; or
* ringing in your ears.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.
