both fights in April who wins these fights? Judah vs. Margarito and Hopkins vs. Calzaghe?

Me personaly I cant predict anyone of these fights. But I see Margarito knocking out Zab or Zab simply out boxing Margarito to a decision. Personaly I dont think hopkins has the power to harm Calzaghe and Joe is a much better boxer. I see Calzaghe out boxing hopkins to a Majority decision or Hopkins winning a boring split decision.

Margarito/Judah is a crossroads fight for both, the winner will maintain status as a world class boxer, the loser will fade further. Margarito has a lot more left in the tank than Judah, and should take this one. Zab's last A level win was over Cory Spinks, and Margarito is no Spinks. Judah doesn't have a glass jaw, but when he gets tagged, that old Spinners tune rubber band man starts playing in the back ground when Zab gets to the later rounds, and the end is inevitable.

Margarito by KO inside 10 rounds.

Hopkins has the opportunity to prove he was the best of his era with Calzaghe. Both are already all time greats, and easy locks on the Boxing Hall of Fame. Bernard already is mentioned with names like Ray Robinson, Marvin Hagler and Carlos Monzon. Hopkins rates 4th all time for the middleweight division, and has earned a place in the history of boxing that few fighters attain. That said, when an all time great steps up in weight against a world call champion, it is an extremely dangerous move. Shades of Sugar Ray Robinson/Joey Maxim come to mind when I think about this fight.

Joe Calzaghe is no Antonio Tarver. Where Tarver poses and talks trash, Calzaghe works. Joe will be the toughest fight of Bernard's already storied career, coming at a time when Bernard is already well past his prime and Joe is peaking. If these two met 10 years ago, it would be an easy call, and Bernard would have walked away with a victory. But timing is all on the side of Calzaghe.

I too see a Calzaghe decision victory in this one, father time is the fourth corner man working for Joe against Bernard and nobody beats old age, not even the 4th best middleweight champion in the history of boxing.

I see Zab Judah losing to Antonio Margarito. I think there will be at least a knockdown or two scored by Margarito..... probably a knockout.

Father-time seems to be catching up to Hopkins after looking at his last performance against Winky Wright. Calzaghe has looked good in his last several fights and he is a legit champion, though some may not accept it. I think Calzaghe will edge Hopkins by decision.

the Zab fight can be summed up in one word DISCIPLINE. Margerito has it and Zab doesn't. Calzaghe vs Hopkins is going to be more interesting. Calzaghe does have the ability to out box Hopkins but Bernard possesses a slickness that is going to give Calzaghe some problems. I don't see neither one getting knock down or out. But if it is close, I expect the judges to give it to the undefeated younger fighter, who has more of a future in the sport.

zab judah is a good fighter but he switches off after 5 or 6 rounds his work rate for a complete fight leaves a lot to be desired so i see it margarito if the fight lasts more than 6 rounds

calzaghe will beat b-hop,bernard is no doubt an awsome fighter but what a lot of people dont realize is that joe is a work horse he is relentless he never gives up combine that with lightning hand speed and a granite chin and it should be a good day at the office for calzaghe.

I have to agree with the previous answers...........Margarito and Calzaghe should win.........I think the Margarito fight is easier to pick because of Judah's past history........knowing Zab he'll come out and make this look like a fight of the year candidate in the first 3-5 rounds but then as he's done in almost all of his recent fights he'll probably get either knocked out or TKOd in the later part of the fight.

The other fight I personally think is alot harder to say for sure what is going to happen because somehow Hopkins always makes the other fighter fight his kinda fight. We'll have to see if Calzaghe can manage to fight his fight all fight.........have a feeling that Bhop will make it a competetive(but not sure how good to watch)fight..........Hopkins has given me no reason to doubt him and I personally thought that Kessler didn't look as good in the Calzaghe fight as I thought he would be...........as you can see..........i can picture it going either way.........but if I have to choose then i gotta pick the younger guy.

Actually, your prediction is pretty much spot on. There's no way Zab will beat Margarito and there's very little chance of Hopkins beating Calzaghe.

Granted nobody ever got rich by doubting Hopkins, but I'll tell you this, if he convincingly beats Calzaghe it would put him in the top three all-time greats in my book.

Bernard Hopkins may be 43 Yrs Old But He is gonna WHIP JOE CALZAGHE's *** for several reasons. 1. Calzaghe has faught in Europe against nobody's and Look what happened to the last european that tried his luck at a US champ.(Ricky Hatton) 2. Calzaghe is Southpaw and Hopkins is 11-0 with 8 Ko's against southpaws. 3. Calzaghe throws way to many punches to last 12 rds becuz he wont knock hopkins out. I dont even like hopkins but i speak the truth

i agree with you on both fights. zab has all the tools he needs to be a champion he just lacks the determination and heart to ever get there (goes to show that you can't get to the mountain top on pure skill alone) and i do see Joe outboxing and using his blazing hand speed to pile on some punishment on Bernard. he hustle, hand speed and awkward angles of punching at times, all those will be too much for Bernard and he gets worked for at least 9 of the 12 rounds.
