How do I find out if the IRS has a lawsuit against MPRI?

I have heard the IRS has a lawsuit against MPRI, a subdividson of L3 Communications reference Private Contrators in Iraq. MPRI claims they are Private Contractors and IRS claims they are employees. As contractors, MPRI does not pay taxes on them as they would if declared employees.

IRS would not have a suit against MPRI over this issue, it would be the other way around. If IRS determined the company owed employment taxes it would have to pay at least part of them then sue for a refund. This would be disclosed in filings with the SEC for a publicly traded company.

    Go to http://yahoofinance.com/

Enter the symbol to get the quote. THEN click on "News". You might have to do some reading OR if you know about the date you think the lawsuit was filed, you can go to that approximate date.

OR you could Go ogle the symbol and see what appears on that search.
