I have this problem
(XJ40,3.2, k reg)
what I noticed was that the rear passenger door (NS/R) was unlocking slightly slower than the others.
and now it does not unlock
this causes the car to re-lock
doing it several times just seems to free the sizure
when the weather warms up I plan to take the door card off and spray everything with WD40.
and hope this will sort it
