why cant Verizon navigator find me in new york...>?
i have the vx8500 "chocolate" and when i go to new york it seems to work fine, but when i get in the city city like manhattan with buidings and all it just keeps re navigating and rerouting me. it never gets me anywhere... anyone knows why?

Make sure you are set to Walking, I had the same issue. The city is very dense and you will have those problems. We were re directed a lot too, less when I changed the settings. other than that It works fine, We used it as our GPS while on Vacation in Hawaii and it was almost flawless.

you should go to the closest verizon store and tell them what is up. they can prolly help you or give you a new fone or something.
