Carrying a Child
"Give me a sentence about one of the public servants we learned about today," said the teacher.
One small boy wrote, "The fireman came down the ladder pregnant."
The teacher took the boy aside to correct him. "Don't you know what pregnant means?" she asked.
"Sure," he said confidently. "It means carrying a child."
It is funny because the child does not really understand the meaning of pregnant, but someone told him it meant "to carry a child"! So much like so many young people on yahoo answers, who use the wrong word!

The Firefighter was a woman and she was pregnant. So she came down the ladder carrying a child.
