Not weird to me and a lot of other Aussies, but I suppose Kangaroo and crocodile might be considered "exotic".

I have eaten maggots in Africa, grasshoppers and ants. I have had a burger made out of earth worms. I think that the weirdest thing would have to be the eggs I had in the Philippines. They were partially formed parrot eggs that had been boiled and fermented in something.

This may sound weird to you, however it actually tastes great.

It's squid with tentacles cooked, and simmered in tomato paste, seasoned with ground red, green, white, and black peppercorns.

Also, my homemade soup broth ( witches brew ), it's a pot filled with Brita filtered water, coriander, parsley flakes, thinly sliced small carrots, wild rice, seasoned with ground red, green, white, and black peppercorns, simmered under low heat for 2 hours.

Deep fried shrimp heads at the sushi bar. It took a lot of Sapporo.

One time I accidentally took a sip from a beer can containing only ashes, cig butts and beer from like 3 hours ago. It was horrific.

beans w/ mustard. the tangyness of the mustard really compliments the heartyness of the beans. you gotta try it. actually, i'm eating it right now

I ate things that i shouldn't like: lotion, air freshener, make up, nail polish, crazy glue, and dolls eyeball, and other things too..but their not food related and neither were those.

Snails in garlic butter. Not bad actually, as long as you don't look at them.
