what are some healthy fats I can eat?

I'm 6'0 and about 155 pds. I'm looking to gain some weight, but to no avail. I want to gain weight but I don't want to eat harmful foods that will harm me in other ways. What are some healthy fatty foods?

I think instead of smaller, more healthy portions into three meals is just asking to end up quitting the "Diet". Try to eat six meals a day. 3 actual meals, and 3 snacks(all healthy). For breakfast I like to mix yogurt and bran. It tastes really good and It fills the stomach. Keep in mind, breakfast is the most important meal, so if you want to make a poached egg, and eat lots of fruit, do that. snack one: I usually have some sort of vegetable medley, sometimes even an orange or something like that. Lunch, usually a salad with vinagrette. I used to hate the stuff until I found rasperry vinagrette. There are so many flavours one can never get bored. snack 2: crackers and cheese or granola bar Supper I either make fish and rice with veggies, chicken and noodles, or steak and potatoes. snack 3 about and hour before bed, some kind of chips/chocolate/great tasting food. Before every meal I always have 2 glasses of water, and throughout the day I always have a water bottle with me.

Extra virgin olive oil (don't overdo it as it's only an ok fat ), seeds, canola oil , fish, some nuts ( peanuts in moderation ). Peanuts have been known to be good for you in moderation but as with everything eat too much and the opposite is true. Canola oil has omega 3 which is very good for you as well. Make sure you exercise even if you're not fat it is important to exercise.

The "fat" in food doesn't make you fat or gain weight. Excess calorie intake makes you gain weight. If you want to gain weight, just increase your calorie intake. Alcohol has a high calorie count.

Why do you want to gain weight through eating? 6'0" and 155 lbs. is a normal weight. If you want to gain body mass, start lifting weights.

Peanuts and Peanut butter. That's fattening and really good for you. I heard one of the most healthy things to eat is 9 grain bread with peanut butter on it.

Cheese isn't bad for you.. and it really fattening as well.
