What is the name of this card game?

I played this card game with some people I don't have contact info for. We had so much fun playing, but I don't remember what they called it.

All I can remember is that you start with 7 cards in the first round, then each round you get one less until you get to 1, and then each round you get one more until you get back to 7. Each round, once you get your cards, you bid on how many hands you are going to take. Then you play out the hand, but I don't really remember how that part works. I think it was somewhat like hearts? I could be wrong. Then, you somehow receive a score bases on your bid and how it matched up with how many hands you actually take.

Anyone have any clue?

This sounds like a variation on Oh Hell, or Seven Steps to Hell.

A very similar game is Rage, which uses an expanded card deck (6 suits) and some special cards:

It sounds to me that it is a variation on the game Spades. Here is a link with the official rules and several variations. We use to play it in College to the wee hours.

    Or

It could be Hi/Low I was trying to find a website, but all I got were poker sites. As I remember you bet on how many hands you would win with the highest or lowest possibility.
