  • What pickup truck will meet my needs?

I drive a honda civic, which is great for me, except I do a lot of gardening. I want to get an affordable pickup truck for occasional hauling; things like hay bales and compost, etc. I want the smallest pickup I can find. Something that gets really good gas mileage. I'm going to keep my civic for commuting. I don't really know anything about trucks. I don't want to spend more than $2000, so it's going to have to be an older model. Recommendations?

  • What does "insufficient debt capacity" mean?

I was denied a credit card because I have "insufficient debt capacity". I can find the term used all over the internet, but I can't find anywhere that actually explains what it means.

  • How do you make awesome Jambalaya?

I've eaten Jambalaya before, but I've never made it. Today I want to try, but I know nothing about making it. I live in Portland Oregon, and we don't eat much southern food here. I need some Southern folks to help me out! There are endless recipes on the internet. I have no way of knowing which ones are actually good. So...

How do you make great Jambalaya? If you have a fool proof recipe that you're TASTED (I don't need someone to search the internet for a random recipe. I can do that myself) or even just some tips or basic steps, I would love to hear it. I went to culinary school, so I don't have to have a specific recipe. I understand that sometimes it's more of a method.

oh, and I have andouille sausage that I want to use.

Jambalaya masters, now is your time to shine!

  • What is the name of this card game?

I played this card game with some people I don't have contact info for. We had so much fun playing, but I don't remember what they called it.

All I can remember is that you start with 7 cards in the first round, then each round you get one less until you get to 1, and then each round you get one more until you get back to 7. Each round, once you get your cards, you bid on how many hands you are going to take. Then you play out the hand, but I don't really remember how that part works. I think it was somewhat like hearts? I could be wrong. Then, you somehow receive a score bases on your bid and how it matched up with how many hands you actually take.

    Anyone have any clue?

  • How can I clear out my new community garden plot organically?

I just got a community garden plot. I have until next spring to get it all cleaned up for planting. The problem is, it was abandoned all year and is completely covered in weeds. It's pretty much a big patch of tall grass. (the plot is 20'x20') What's the best way to get rid of it all, including the roots, so that it won't grow back later? I'm not allowed to use any chemicals so it needs to be an organic solution.

Any other tips on having a successful vegetable garden would be appreciated too!

  • What should I wear to a wedding?

I'm going to a wedding at the end of April in Orlando florida. I've never been to a wedding before, so I don't really know what people wear. It's going to be a roman catholic wedding, probably in a church. My boyfriend is doing shirt and tie. I know you're not supposed to wear white. Some specific ideas would be great. I like vintage looking stuff.

  • What is the weather like in Orlando Florida in April?

I'm going to a wedding in Orlando in April, so I need to know what kind of dress to buy and what kind of clothes to bring. It's going to be the last weekend in April. How hot do you think it will be around that time?

  • Have you ever met a scientologist?

I have never met a scientologist. I've really only ever heard of the famous ones, so to me it just seems like a hollywood fad. Have you ever met one, and if so, where are you from? I'm wondering if it's more popular near hollywood.

I read up on scientology and now understand why it's so popular with celebrities: they kiss their butts. But I'm wondering about non celebrity members.

  • What's the best vacuum to meet my needs?

I have hardwood floors in my apartment, but I also have an area rug that I need to vacuum, so I need one that can do both. I have a stick vacuum right now that's great on the hardwood, but horrible on the carpet. I tend to shed and the vacuum won't pick up my long hairs. They just get pushed around the carpet by the brushes. I don't have too much storage space for it, so smaller is better, and I don't feel like spending a fortune on some fancy vacuum. Does anybody have a vacuum that works great on hardwood and carpet? (the carpet has a short pile)

  • Have you had your car repaired at a Progressive Repair Center? How did they do?

I got hit by someone with progressive auto insurance. They took liability and Progressive is going to pay for all of my repair. They are going to have me go to their Progressive Service center, specifically the one in Portland Oregon. I want to make sure they are going to do a good job.

Has anyone gotten their car repaired at one of their service centers, or even the one in Portland? Did they do a good job or would I be better off finding my own place to take my car?

I would get a lifetime guarantee on the repair from Progressive. Has anyone ever had problems with this guarantee?
