Why do the cowboy fans blame Jessica Simpson, when their offensive line couldn't protect Tony?

On every pass play in the second half Romo was hurried and/or ended up on his back. Why that hate for Jessica?

    Well come on now.....

It can't POSSIBLY be Romos fault, the defensive line's fault or the fact that the Cowboys just suk.

The Dallas fans have to blame someone else because their team is perfect with their shiny white smiles and all.

It has to be J. Simpsons fault.

(I am having a flashback of the guy in Animal House screaming "ALL IS WELL")...

Source(s): But I digest..... Just my 2 cents.

Not that I'm a Cowboys fan, but Jessica would not be too blame. First off, Romo didn't have to go to Cabo with her. If he were smart he would have stayed at home, done some light workout stuff and just relaxed with his gal. It was his choice to go off to Mexico. Second, the Cowboys just haven't looked good at all over the past month. The running game has gone downhill, the defense is atrocious and yes, Romo's performance of late is almost embarrassing. Third, there actually might not be a team that is playing better than the Giants right now, Patriots included. When you look and see that the Giants almost knocked off the Pats, a team that is far better than them, on paper, and they went on the road to beat a good Tampa Bay team...the Giants are playing like they can beat any team in the NFL. It's sad for Jessica, I think she's in a horrible position. If the Cowboys lose, people will just blame her. Too bad they are too ignorant to see the team has a number of problems that have nothing to do with Simpson.

Don't blame Jessica. The Cowboys just choked

    - Offensive line had some miscues.

    - There were a couple of plays were we stopped the Giants on 3rd and 5, but we ended up offsides.

    - There were some dropped passes

    - Romo made some mistakes (the 2 plays were he got sacked; he should have easily thrown the ball away, and that idiotic intentional grounding).

    - What sucks the most is that we had a 10-min drive before halftime, but then our special teams and defense let the Giants score in 46 seconds. Pathetic...

P.S. This is just Dallas being Dallas. The Mavs choked, the Stars choked and now the Cowboys choked

The offensive line didn't do so bad. Tony Romo's first sack was either in late third quarter or early fourth quarter, I forgot. To not be sacked basically the whole game until that time? That's a pretty well built offensive line.

But you're right. I'm also sick and tired of hearing the blame on Jessica Simpson. Cowboys fans just love to find the "scape goat" and they've put it on Jessica Simpson, just because as a coincidence, Romo had his career's worst game when Simpson was present in the crowd for the first time.

Amen. People are stupid. 90% of the time, it was either Romo's protection or his receivers that couldn't do their jobs. It's funny how some people will blame anyone and anything for their team's downfall. It's funny how some people watch ESPN and listen to the radio and spit out what they hear here on Yahoo! Answers like they are incapable of formulating their own opinions. It's funny how those people make fun of T.O. when he appears to be the only person in the national spotlight speaking logically. Who cares who Tony Romo is dating. Would they care if he was dating some 35 year old nobody? Would they care if he went to Mexico with some random woman he was dating who wasn't a star? Would they care is he went to Mexico with his wife, who wasn't famous, on the off-week? On the field, Romo is thinking about one thing... winning the football game. People are rediculous.

Hey numbskull... turn on any sports radio station or watch any sports channel when they talk about the Cowboys. You will hear Jessica Simpson's name or a reference to "Tony Romo's girlfriend" in almost every report. It's not new news here...

And inside edge... there is more to the offensive line's performance than how many sacks they give up. Hurries and knockdowns take their individual tolls on a quarterback. If Romo doesn't have time in the pocket to make anything happen, then the passing game fails. For almost the entire second half, Romo had very little to no time in the pocket.

    Ignorance,

Romo is in his second year, really first full time starter. Peyton took 6 before his first playoff win. He and the Cowboys need time to mature. If they are patient, they will get there, otherwise go by the wayside.

Its was a great game between two very good football teams. I enjoyed watching the game as a football fan.

This is the best time of year to be a pro football fan, hopefully the two games next week are just as close and exciting.

They didn't blame it on Jessica Simpson. It's just the fact that he went to Mexico for 4 days WITH Jessica Simpson. When he could of been training or whatever else.

Our coaching staff should have adapted to this extra Giant's man in the box, the giants originally did this to stop Barber but they then used the extra guy to rush Romo. I think Gurode had knee problems yesterday - he played average,

Anyway you look at it Dallas won the game statistically , with more yards rushing and passing, and even more sacks, but when you commit 11 penalties and the Giants only 2, Basically Dallas beat itself.

    Peace

none of us cowboy fans blame Jessice Simpson for anything, or at least i dont. she has no impact on the game whatsoever. Tony Romo is allowed to have a life and i am so sick and f***in tired of people bringing up this ****.

I don't know, but there is alot of Romo apologists on here. Romo had a wide open Terrell Owens over the middle for a touchdown and threw it five yards over his head.
