I'm a freshman in high school and I feel like i'm overweight?
Are there any completely healthy things to do to lose weight quick? I am already very active, and I'm not overweight very much by the numbers. I have a weakness to junk food when I am really craving it, which is mostly after school.

Make sure you eat a wholesome breakfast in the morning before school, which will fill you up until lunchtime. Have a balanced lunch, and after school, if you're hungry, reach for the healthier snacks. If you know you're craving junk food, eat a peppermint, chew gum, or drink water. That'll curb the craving and you won't be hungry anymore. good luck! :)

Just don't eat so much, don't drink any soda and get out more, go for a simple walk every day helps too. One main thing that all doctors say is good is to get your heart rate up and stay up for at least 30 minutes every day and that will also help you lose weight.
One really good thing is to switch over from junk food to things like fruits and veggies as well as to drink a lot of water. Most people don't drink that much water and so much of the time when they feel hungry they're actually needing water.
One thing to keep in mind with food is the more natural the better for weight loss. For example if you ate a normal size cheese burger you would need to eat about five or six times that amount in most fruits to equil the same amount of weight gain/energy gain from that.
You put on weight when you eat more energy in food then what you're working off.
Also eat a few small meals instead of eating three big ones, and make sure to also eat something right away in the morning.
Just simple things like that are great for you, help you live longer, feel better and look good.

well the only way to stop eating fast food is going to be self control..... just think about what its doing to ur body and u might not want to eat it... another thing you can dp is bring maybe a granola bar or fruit and keep it in ur bagpack so when ur done with school u eat that instead of McDonals. anyways.... u NEED to stop the fast food and enroll in some kind of hobbie, a sport, maybe school soccer or football somethig that will put u in shape if not then just go to the gym with ur dad or go running around the neighborhood 4 times a week for like 45 minutes, ull start losing weight. and dont snack unless its fruit or veggies. and drink lots of water. First off hun, numbers sometimes aren't what you need to be looking at. If you have a higher bone density or more muscle than your average peers, then you could actually have less body fat.
Please don't diet. Do simple things like drink water instead of soda. Instead of snacking on chips or cookies try a handful of nuts, baby carrots, celery, apples, grapes, a bowl of cereal like Cheerios, etc. Use whole grain bread instead of white bread. If you eat dairy try some low-fat, no sugar added yogurt (dairy products are good for weight loss). If you want to go to a fast food restaurant order a kid's meal. (if your afraid that kids will question it tell them you want the toy for your cat or something like that). Try eating more veggies with your meals (instead of a huge serving of mac-and-cheese try a small one, with a bigger serving of green beans or another veggie). But when you are hanging out with your friends, then eat some cookies, ice cream, and chips. If you try to deprive yourself you will do more harm than good!

You should eat whole grains in the mourning, that way your body isnt craving food when u get home from school.
