Question about water displacement.?

Melting icecaps will affect sea level. But, would a free floating chunk of ice, such as an iceberg, affect the sea level? It is already displacing its maximum, am I correct?

Update:

I mean a melted free-floating chunk of ice.... :o)

The mass of an iceberg is equal to the mass of the water which would fill its submergerd portion. If the density of the melting iceberg were equal to the density of sea water, its melting would not affect the sea level. But, as far as I know, icebergs are fresh water, and density of fresh water is slighty less than the one of sea water. Therefore, sea level would rise a little.

You right it will not by much, however how do you think this iceberg ended up in the water?
