DEJAVU 80's.!! Lakers & Celtics on TOP?

Yes, we hope to see this great rivalry again.

But the difference is that the Celtics today are the result of the destruction of the Timberwolves, thank McHale (who owe the trade of Garnett).

While the Lakers are the result of several draft selections, work and development of the young players and, dont forget, they have the best player (Kobe) and best coach (Phil) in the league.

Because if they do the things in the same way as the Celtics... today in LA would have Pau Gasol and Elton Brand in the team; remember that Jerry West and Elgin Baylor were/are the GM of those teams (Grizzlies and Clippers).

But Kobe and Garnett don't have a rivalry and will only play each other 2 times a year unless both teams make the finals. You also won't see them guarding each other like Magic and Bird
