Should i remove my ill fish?

I bought a goldfish last week and he got a bite near his tail fin, its getting deeper and peeling and has red round it, and he has cloudy eyes, since then 2 of my other fish have got fin rot so ive put some meds in there, should i remove the fish with the bite or the fish which dont have it?

Nikki

Update:

Thanx every1 4 replying. I'll leave them all in the tank, i put anti fungus and finrot - phenoxyethanol do u think itd be ok with salt?

All the fish show the symptons to fin rot but the 1 fish has a big chunk out of him which is where i think the fin rot came from, do u think that will heal or is it some thing else aswel?

Thanks nikki

Niether...sounds like your going to have to treat them all anyway. Isoalting works well if only one fish is showing symptoms...all of your fish are showing symptoms.....unless one fish is being picked on...then you should remove him.

If your treating the fish for fin rot then it is best to not separate any of them

Yes, add salt and or some bettamex related chemicals to make sure it doesn't get infected. If they all are sick, treat them all. Try to keep your water as pristene as possible. Did they have all the sicknesses when you bought them?

Although all the fish are not showing it, they are all infected by now. So, you should medicate the whole tank.
