broth is from meat
stock is from bones... more gelatin and deeper taste
some tips ive read when using broth:
-buy low-sodium broth. then add salt to-taste
-you can enhance broth by simmering it with herbs and vegetables like you would a stock (thyme, peppercorn, carrots, onions, etc)

YES! they are almost the same concept! chicken stock is made with boiling chicken pieces, carrots, celery, onions and other vegetables--chicken broth is from a buillon cube or canned.

Absolutely. The only difference between the two is that stock has a deeper taste then the broth.

yes, broth is from boiled meat and stock is from boiled bones. store bought chicken broth is saltier, but they have the same flavor.

Absolutely unless you would like to make chicken stock from chicken bones and carcases
