Can you import your yahoo mail account into a mac without $$?

I recently got a macbook for christmas, and everything is new to me. I some how cannot get my yahoo mail to show up on my desktop. When I do try to "get mail" it says "pop.mail.yahoo.com" might have a fee. Is this the same for out look on microsoft office? Is it the same for microsoft office for mac? Please, please, please help! And if you have any other interesting pointers on mac, I would love to hear! Thanks guys!

    No, i was in the same situation. Unless you upgrade your yahoo mail=$$ you have to login to yahoo through your browser, sadly

    Yahoo mail would not artwork with Outlook. you will want to the two pay for Yahoo real type provider or obtain a nil.33 social gathering gadget mentioned as Ypops to fool yahoo into getting yahoo mail into outlook.
