does GUILD WARS have a monthly subscription charge??

No it does not require a monthly fee. It is considered worse than World of Warcraft, another game of that genre, but you can play it anytime free of charge. Like i left the game for a year or so, and came back on and my character was still there and i could still play. If you buy the expansions when they come out though, you can find yourself spending just as much as you would with a game that has a monthly fee. The plus side of this is its not necessary. Guild wars is free to play, which is one of its great appeals. Plus it has a lot of storyline. I highly recommend it.
