Why are there no longer any water fountains to drink from when you go to the store or park etc???

I think it is based on how much water is available in your area. I'm from Missoula where we have a huge aquifer, so there are drinking fountains everywhere I look. When I went to Vegas though I was only able to spot one the whole time I was there.

They are the victims of vandalism and grafitti by you know who. They alsohave also been found to harbor AIDS virises. Public health and Infection Control Swab Studies have shown that over 80% of public fountains harbor living AIDS virises.

Most places have eliminated them due to the concerns of contamination and not wanting the expense of filtering and maintaining the quality of the water. The students at my sons school are allowed to bring bottled water to school every day to keep at their desks.

liability exposure for the city and stores. insurance cost to have fountains are spendy and to maintain them are also expensive so they would rather sell you a $1 bottle of the geat H2O

idk, but i think that they are discusting i never drink out of them, because when i was little i saw someone suck on the little hole that the water comes out and that was discusting.(that sounded wrong..lol) but i think that they are discusting...eew
