you may have a bad ground wire on it causing that too happen ,that is dangerous to drive like that because it will burn the dash instruments out,so you need to take that one to a shop and have them find the problem,it will do damage to the instrument panel if not repaired,and it could also be the circuit panel on the back of it causing that too happen,good luck on it.
