What's the coolest pet to own?

I think the "coolest' pet to own is a dog. Especially a Golden Retriever Dog breed. These dogs are the best dogs for a family setting. They behave the best with little kids and older children. They allow the kids to be very playful and will never get mad with the kids for all the playing that the kids want to do.

The Golden Retriever will love to go outdoors with you in the backyard and play with you. You may thow a ball to him but he will not always return it right away. You may have to chase him to get it and he will be playful with you and will run around and you will have fun trying to get the ball from him. Also they will like to go to the beach and you can take them in the water since they are not afraid of water and will often swim in the water with you if you are close to shore.

They are a very clean type of dog who will never be afraid of getting a bath. After you wet them down with a shower hose with warm (not too hot) water and soap them down then you can rinse them off all the while the dog will enjoy every minute of this "bath". So you can wash the dog frequently like say at least once a week or once every two weeks and it will not be a chore for you since the dog enjoyes getting a shower/bath.

They are faithful friends to you and will never run away from you when off of a leash. Also they will not hurt people out in public so you can be a little bit more relaxed when out in public. (Of course you must observe any "leashing laws" and also show proper concern for other people who might be afraid of dogs who are loose witrh no leash on.

We in my family had a Golden Retriever for 15 years from when the dog was just a pup of 10 weeks old. Till the dog died of old age.

The BEST pet to own is a dog... but the COOLEST pet to own would probably be liger(a tiger+lion) or a ferret or maybe a monkey

Out of all the animals i have ever owned I would say either a dog or chinchillas. Dogs are good companions and chinchillas are extremely entertaining, but really you have to do some research about the animal you are looking into getting and decide if that animal is a good match for you.

right at this very second, its my cat laying on my lap. I love her.
