Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. Click on Tools----then on Internet Options.
Across the top of the dialog box---click the " programs" tab.
Then click the down arrow next to the "email" line and choose Yahoo mail----then "apply and OK".
If Yahoo doesn't appear as one of the choices----(it usually doesn't)---you will need to download (or RE-download) Messenger----all of it. That puts Yahoo on the list.
Now, go back (tools-internet options-programs) and you can choose Yahoo now. (apply and ok).
You can now remove Messenger (if you don't want it), without affecting the setting.
