If a friend needed a place to stay...?
My neighbor,Orenthal, is in need of a place to kinda lay low. He has been thru a lot in recent years. He is a good person but, bad things keep happening to him. IDK, First, someone killed his wife, they tried to finger him but, the glove didn't fit. Now, they say he tried to rob and kidnap a guy. He wouldn't ever do things like that. I know him personally and he is a kind and caring person.
I don't know why bad things happen to good people.
Should I help him out for a while and let him stay with me?

Oh yeah, just think about how nice he was to put Kato up. You'll be repaying his good Karma!

My best advice would be to show her this question! You obviously care about her, like any good friend would. But whether she knows it or not, she's really taking advantage of you. You need to lay down some ground rules if she's gonna stay with you. And if you really can't take her being there, then it isn't fair to YOU to let her live there. What is she going to do when she's still in this situation and you're moving off? She may have been dealt a bad hand in life but she needs to learn how to play it while she's still young enough to change it! Oh, and you should probably try to convince her to call the cops on her dad for stealing her loans. That's sick man...

I don't know how well you know this guy and with that in mind I would have to say No.
Things like this usually happen for a reason.
Some people put on appearances. Meaning that you may know one side of him but there could very well be a side you haven’t met and you don’t want to meet in your sleep.
On the flip side, how will it look to the police if he moves in with you? His wife was murdered and then he moves in with another woman.
I understand your concern but I think you need to let this man be a man and stand on his own two feet.
Please be cautious in this situation.
It may very well be a life or death decision and I believe most will agree that it is better to be safe than sorry.

Seems like you are the perfect candidate to be in the milk boxes, bad things don't happen to good people... is hardly likely someone will point yo as a kidnapper if you haven't done something similar .... we'll probably catch a glimpse of you in the night news

I'd be a little skeptical about letting someone "Lay low" in your house. The justice system is designed to convict the guilty and let out the innocent, if he didn't do anything he'll get off fine otherwise your committing a crime by hiding him

No, don't do it! If he got his bail money (it just doubled), he can go find somewhere to stay low ... what about Florida? Aren't his kids down there still? Let him move in with them, so they can be a family again & rejoin regular society (instead of the underworld). If he wants to stay in your house, say ok, but then grab your kids & come visit me & my boys for a spell (we'll find the room somehow). ~(:-D)

No, he can stay with a guy I know who's wife left him for another man and has not been heard from in months, it's just her PMS

Since he llives RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO YOU.
I'd say no, HELP him find somewhere else to live, and if he asks can you stay with you, say no because they would find you here, since yall are close. But do your best to help him find somewhere else to live, or lay low.

He is staying in a Nevada prison now so you are off the hook! Send him a cake with a file in it!
