Friday wood green? Colchester?
Anybody live around Friday wood green, Colchester UK? and can tell me what the area is like and if the MOD land nearby is a pain ie noisy with shootem ups
Im looking to buy my family home in this area and am trying to find out if this area is noisy because of the barracks nearby

I have done lots of work on Berechurch rd Colchester.. the new site there.. maybe this is where you are looking
I have not noticed any noise but the barracks is off this road. I pulled in there by mistake once and got asked by an armed guard what i wanted.
on the positive side.. there are many new developments popping up in this area I'm sure they wouldn't be selling if there was regular gun fire.
My advise would be the same to anyone buying a new home. visit lots.. site outside in your car with the radio off and the window open. do this at different times of the day and night. there is no better way of making sure your happy before you buy... its just like sitting in your new garden
