Hello I am a beginner in learning C language.

Could you recommend which version would be best and if possible, where can I download it from?

Well, why not VC# ,visual C# is easy ; straight forward. If you are looking for something easier try Visual Basic .They're all based on C ! Hoorey

    Go to www.microsoft.com

and look for "Visual studio Express" .It's free too!

For learning the C language, try the Ch interpreter

    An IDE for Ch, ChSciTE:

    http://chscite.sourceforge.net/

Ch Standard Edition and ChSciTE are both freeware.

Since u are a beginner u can start with TURBO C. It is easy and quite user friendly, u may find it dull to look at since it is DOS based. As u master in C language u may start using VISUAL BASIC.

You may find Turbo C by searching it in Google.
