dreaming of a telephone number?

It means this person is in your subconcious, your thinking about this person, would like to know how they are doing but afraid to really find out.

I'm just amazed that you remember the number, half of my dreams either don't finish all the way or I can't remember what the h**l I just dreamed about. I wouldn't recommend calling it myself, I would think that he/she is an old ex for a reason or you'd still be together right?

It's not a good idea to call it, because you never know who it could be.

Dream interpretations have to be very carefully drawn from a person's past. It's hard to interperet dreams in this kind of situation, but it may mean that you are clinging to something (like a person you haven't seen or talked to for quite a while) too much.

I never had a dream like that, but once I did have a number that kept cropping into my head for no reason. I didn't even know whose it was. It bugged me so much that I ended up calling it, and it turned out to be a friend that I'd lost her number ages before. When I told her about it, she laughed and said, "I've been thinking about you and was trying to find your number." (Which was unlisted by the way.)

I once got a call in real life that sounded like an old lady and she kept saying hello. I tried to talk to her and find out what she wanted and she just kept saying hello in that old lady voice.

Look for the person on Myspace and see if this is somebody you're supposed to contact.
