Know any good bars in Lowell, MA?
Going to Dropkick Murphys concert in Lowell, MA on St. Patrick's Day weekend. Staying at the Doubletree, 1/2 mile from the venue (Tsongas Arena) and need some help in finding decent bars to hit up after the show. Older college crowd, young professionals would be ideal. No dance clubs or Sh*t holes.

Hookslide Kelly's - Merrimack st.
Worthern House Cafe - Worthern st.
Brewhouse Cafe & Grill - Cabot st.
Dubliner - Market st.
Cobblestones - Merrimack st.
All are walking distance from the arena and the hotel.

I was at the Lowell arena a few months ago, and we went to someplace called the Dubliner. I'm not familar with the area at all to give you other suggestions, but that place wasn't bad at all, and we walked from the show. Also, our hotel had a small bar, but it wasn't the Double Tree.

How about something in Charles Village ? Or near the waterfront ? There are a ton of places over there?
Here a web site that is full of places to dine at...

And there are a lot of places there (the waterfront) that are for an older crowd, not old, just older.
