US economy recovery and the weapons selling to the Saudis..?
don't you all find it odd that Bush announced an economy recovery just after selling the weapons to the Saudis?
The congress are keeping quiet and all..have the US run out of money because of the war in Afghan and Iraq and he finally resorted to do that?

We have been selling weapons to Saudi Arabia for 50 years.
Selling weapons to a country gives us leverage over that country. Since we now control the supply of spare parts they have to pay more attention to us and our values.

The U.S. have been selling weapons to some selected countries in the Middle East...
they have been for a while now.
