YES! Very safe, very clean...if you're living between San Fernando and up to a little past Glenoaks....best place to be :) people are nice and friendly and all the shops around there are a great convenience :)

I'm moving to LA to pursue my singing career and I found an apartment in Glendale, CA. I don't know anything about it. Is it a nice area?

Glendale is a pretty great place to live. It has a large population, but you still get this homey feeling. There may not be as much excitement as LA, just b/c Glendale doesn't want any clubs in the city, but its really close to anything and anywhere...and there's a lot to the in the city too. Plus it's a lot safer. I don't know what kind of setting you're coming from, but living in LA may be too big a transition... It's really not as nice as it looks on TV. But living in glendale, and getting a job in LA... Is a good idea. :)

But yea, Glendale is safe, one of the safest of its size. You'll find all kinds of people in Glendale and there's a lot of diversity. 40% are Armenian, so if you come live here... "Barev" means hello, "inch pes ek" means how are you? We love other races trying to speak it....

But ya... i'm pretty sure you'll love it here :)

I used to live in Glendale by the way, but but later moved to Burbank. It is very safe , in most parts of Glendale, it's large so you shouldn't have problems. It tops one of the safest areas in Los Angeles County, including Burbank. Good luck !

I haven't lived in Glendale, but go there often. It has a huge galleria (I think the second largest in the world), and has a second shopping plaza opening up right in front of it. For some reason, I always have parking trouble when I get there, but its nice. Yes, the city does have a large Armenian population..theres actually a documentary-type video about it on youtube!

Yes...safe and most neighborhoods there are nice. It has a large Galleria in the downtown area, and a new outdoor mall is being built as well. It does have a very large Armenian population..so some of your neighbors may not speak English..but it is basically overall a nice place to live.

Glendale is usually listed as one of the safest cities in So Cal.

yes, kinda crowded, but there are a lot of stores and glendale galleria, which is a big mall. and it is a safe place
