The Australian Open just had three incredible matches. Which was your favorite?

James Blake was down 2 sets to Love before dominating the third, winning a dramatic tiebreak in the 4th after being down two breaks, and then finishing in the fifth.

Roger Federer was down 2 sets to 1, with two sets being decided by tiebreaks, before winning the fourth and then outlasting Janko Tipsarevic in the 5th set: 10-8.

Lleyton Hewitt and Marcos Baghdatis played deep into the early morning hours in Melbourne. The two had three dramatic and outstanding sets and Hewitt emerged from the dust with the lead 2 sets to 1. Both men had huge numbers of supporters at Rod Laver Arena. Hewitt jumped on Baghdatis in the 4th set, going up 5 games to 1; however, Baghdatis would rally to send the set to a tiebreak and win it. In the 5th set, after a crucial break of Baghdatis in a game that spanned 8 deuces, Hewitt would hold his serve every game in the deciding set and eventually break Baghdatis again to win a match that spanned nearly 5 hours.

Which was your favorite, and why?

geoff i saw the bagdatis hewitt match, it was great... i loved how bagdatis rallied in the 4th... i dont like hewitt, i think he is a phony jerk with all the effects and the stupid trademark hat on backwards... at one point he was celebrating every point won on his own serve early in the 4th, what an idiot... uh, leyton? you're supposed to win those points.

btw, i cant believe they actually started a match at midnight though... i know they have a schedule to keep, but geez, come on... let them play tomorrow...

i think the Roger-Janko tops the other matches by far!! I mean Janko played real hard tennis and if it was any other player..Nadal, Djokovic, whoever he would'av definitely beaten them especially if they were in such a precarious position where they could'av lost their no.1 ranking and their streak and soo much to lose! But Federer handled it with the greatness he pretty much defines and in the end looked like there was no way he was going to lose. And believe me that is exactly what Federer needed.. a real tough opponent to really test him to see how much he wants this title and based on how he came through i really dont see anyone beating him unless he goes through a couple more matches like that. But in the end Federer didn't lose the match and though janko lost both players won so much from that match that their rematch will be very much anticipated.. now i don't mean to berate the other matches but non of those other players were under that kind of pressure.. they were all basically fightin to get to the next round and So was Federer and Janko but it seemed like those guys were in a title match the adrenaline was amazing i loved that match!

The Federer match was by far the best! Number 49 seed almost beating the number one would have been the biggest upset at the open. Followed by the Blake match and how Blake kept his cool and focus despite being down 2 sets and down two breaks in 3rd set. The Hewitt match was good and I'm glad Hewitt won.

Hmm... Tough one, but I'd say Hewitt vs. Baghdatis is tied with Federer vs. Tipsarevic. Both matches were nerve wracking and AWESOME!

Actually there were 4 great matches. You did not mention

    Roddick's match.

Of the four, Federer/Tipsarevic was one the best so far and it is

really good to see how much effort Federer had to put in order

to this match. It is a rare sight to see Federer struggling to

play his shots, and yet the opponent returns back. It is a rare

sight and lukcy me I recorded this match and have been

watched it 3 times....Great match to preserve as well.

I love Federer, but I'd have to say that it was the Hewitt v. Baghdatis. Greatttt game.

There are 2 issues i like to confirm in a tennis adventure, and you will purely have one or the different, not the two. a million) If it relatively is a mismatch, i prefer to confirm a blowout with astonishing shot making. 2) If this is even, i prefer to confirm an emotional annoying fought adventure. Federer's 2 fits in nice condition type a million, collectively as Safin-Baghdatis suits type 2.

Federer and Tipsarevic- you never really get to see Federer fight like he had to in that match and Janko stayed fighting until the very end of it.
