What kind of songs are you looking for? The song "Listen" by Beyonce is a good song for confident and telling people your dreams and no one can put you down if they say that you can't do it.

Maybe "I am what I am"... but that is also known as the Gay National Anthum, so I don't know if that would be appropriate for you.
