I need you help!?

I just received my 1099G from the state of ny dept of labor to file with my taxes, my question is because I didnt have taxes taken out how much taxes would I owe to the IRS..I received $9,270.

All my Accountants and Tax Experts please help me figure this out!

    Can't speak for the State taxes since you didn't say which State, but you will owe Federal income taxes on this in most cases.

    How much you'll owe will depend upon your total tax situation so it's not possible to say. It's fully taxable as ordinary income.

    If it was your ONLY income and you're single and not the dependent of another taxpayer and you have no dependents yourself you'll owe about $52 in Federal Income Tax. Any other tax situation such as marital status, other income, etc. will change that number, possibly quite a bit.
