Has this ever happened to anyone? It's kind of spooky!?

Question

Well one night when I was younger I stayed the night at my aunts house in the country. It was late everyone else was asleep and I had decided to go to sleep also, So when I went to lay down I heard someone whisper my name it was really low so I thought my mind was playing tricks on me so I ignored it, and then I heard it again only louder this time. Still again I ignored it then I heard someone call my name again and it was loud and clear so that kind of freaked me out so I got up to look around the house to see if someone was playing a joke on me, and everyone was still asleep! So I went back to the room afraid and alone. I hopped under the covers and threw them over my head and tried my best to go to sleep. I asked everyone the next day did they do it and no one knew anything about it, So still today I have no clue as to who or what it was that called my name 3 times that night. It was really creepy and I would like to know if anyone has ever had this happen to them or heard of this

Well I wasn't that young I was about 17 or 18 and my aunt has always claimed that she has seen ghost but I haven't. I had always thought that it was a ghost!

I am sorry to hear of your fright. Perhaps it was a ghost. I have seen only one in my life. Unfortunately I had called it myself during a seance. No one believed me when I told them about it and i suffered with this spirit haunting me for many weeks. Finally I simply told the spirit that I was very sorry that I had called her and that i could not help her. She went away and I have never seen or heard another. Peace be with you... ~m~

well my experience was much freakier well somewhat ..

Well it happened one night when i was like 20 and everybody was asleep because it was 3 or 4 in the morning and all the sudden i hear people talking to one another and it was like a crowd of people talking and it happened for 2 minute or so than after that i heard a woman screaming loudly and it freaked the **** out of me so i turned on the tv and see whats around my room theres was nobody their and until this day i still get freaked out

I'm thinking it was a relative of your who died, not some random ghost haunting your Aunt's house.  When I was about 6, I was sitting in my grandmother's lap in our car (I know that's dangerous) and I heard someone whisper "Did you have a good day" in my hear.  It sounded like a child's voice, and it was NOT my grandmother or anyone else in the car.

Aye I have had that sort of 'visit' to your not alone. mine holds all the same characteristics as your but in mine I knew who it was it was my pop that had died about 1 week earlier. You can believe what you want with yours but I believe that was how mine played out. If you had someone pass away in your family that you were close to it may have been them. Or you can believe what you wish, up to you!

it could have happened. just because one person, like your aunt, can see ghosts doesn't mean you can too. it all depends on how sensitive a person you are. i have a best friend who sees them and i can't.

it happend to me at my lake house wich is in the absolute middle of nowhere it was freaky
