What's with most women; driving while talking on the cell phone ?

About 90% of the Women I see driving, are talking on the cell phone all the time ... what's with that ? can't they just wait until they arrive ? or can't they just use a wireless headset instead of holding the phone while driving !?

Update:

I said 90% of the women " I see" driving .. not all women ...

I see more men do it then women. To be honest. In my area, but I am not going to put opinionated statics for numbers that I see.

With that being said, I would say a good handful men and women, do it.

Why I am glad I had defensive driving classes.

Well your statistics aren't 100% trust worthy considering its not saying an age group of women nor the are of where its taking place. But to simply answer that question, a cell phone is an easy escape guide for particular to share their gossip with other women... ( I'm most likely wrong) Its typically something men will never understand.

Actually I see just as many men driving while talking on the phone, and it's nowhere near 90%. Maybe 40-50%, though. My husband frequently does it, but I almost never do. I rarely use my phone at all, truth be told!

im only 14 so i cant drive but i know what you meen and can i just say i am a women so im not saying this to be sexist. women always say that men are useless and careless drivers but most accidents on the road are caused by women. if i ever learn to drive i will never talk on the phone. i dont see why they cant wait or they dont just pull over and talk on the phone. can i ask are you a man and how old are you. x

Because they get stressed when they drive and they want some kind of company.Insecutiry...They also think of it as a plus cause talking on cellphone while driving demands some kind of "skill" (or so they think),so they have a bit of both worlds to cover insecurity and inferiority complex.

its just no women, its pretty much everyone.

driving andt alkign is a timesaver for many people, and not everyone wants to pay for a bluetooth, and the conventional headsets are uncomfortable.

Well, as a woman myself, I can only say that I am not one of them....apparently many of them haven't heard of the invention of a BLUETOOTH! lol
